Our survival & future of Royal Barotseland Kingdom depend on the flexibility, compassion & open~ness of our approach to Barotseland, time has come to broadly & effectively consult peacefully, respectifully & honestly, time has come to abondon the unfounded & unnecessary fears, suspicions, & misundertandings, time has come to facilitate & informed, just & mutually satisfactory, the chance for Zambia to emerge as one country & one nation is once again at hand, it is up to our generation now to seize this rare opportunity through honesty, justice & good faith. The Zambian authorities enacted a series of breaches designed to harass, humiliate, on 3rd September, 1965 the Zambian Daily Mail called & mocked that: The Litunga is just another chief & shall remain a chief each one of us must out of relative obscurity discover its mission, fulfill it, or betray it...., we must rid ourselves of the habit, now that we are in the thick of the fight, they fight as with arms that they possessed, we hve to fight back also
