Weve been busy in the Red Apron kitchen the past couple of days. Mr. Red Apron had a hankering for pizza, so I made enough pizza dough for 6 pizzas, (the dough freezes really well) and roasted enough tomatoes for 3 pizzas. We like to roast the tomatoes with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pepper and Himalayan Salt. We roll our pizza dough out to a thin crust, add a little Parmesan, some homemade pizza sauce, (thx Brenda and Sonya) layer with our tomatoes, some fresh basil, (thx Julie) some veggie Italian sausage and crushed red peppers. Cover with Mozzarella and bake! With 3 pizza doughs in the freezer along with 2 pizzas, Im feeling pretty accomplished today!!!
