Our week with Barnum and Bailey...No not the circus-the grandcats. They arrived last night and spent the night meowing and searching the house for each other...so many new places to hide, I guess. When they found each other, they decided to play. I use the term loosely because Im not sure if hissing at and biting each other is exactly playing or the result of chewing on Grandmas plants. Anyway, things settled down around sunrise -- which Bailey chose to observe sitting on my pillow-and head. Things have finally calmed down and I think they have each found their favorite spots to nap the day away. Oh, and Barnum doesnt like or trust our ceiling fan in the kitchen. Its near the feeding station and he refused to eat until we turned the fan off. Hopefully, that cold weather front will come through and we can open some windows for a breeze. Also, I think Im going to need a daily dose of antihistamine to overcome the sensitivity to the cat dander.
