Over my lifetime I have seen history rewritten, traditions changed and the truth of Gods Word trodden under foot as though it was some useless man made dogma. I have seen moral equivalence replace the truth concerning Gods children and the children of the world. The religion of human secularism has replaced the truth that God is our sufficiency - not man. I have lived to see the Living God relegated to the invention of the mind of man. God created man, his environment and his purpose. Who is man next to Him...and yet man thinks that God is his servant. Without a knowledge of the Word of God man is truly lost. He spends a lifetime wandering from one idea to another which never provide deliverance or a more than abundant life. He cannot find peace within himself. Truth is eternal. It only comes from God. His Word is truth. So simple. The problem is that very few acknowledge God as the source of truth, nor can they put His Word together so that they can understand it. I wonder what truth would be worth to someone with an incurable disease, financial collapse, career failure, divorce, the loss of a loved, mental torment, P.T.S.D. and on and on? Every one of us will face insurmountable circumstances and situations in life. To whom do we turn for answers? God provides us with answers from which we never have to back up. Truth always works with reliable consistency. It is the means to deliverance because it reveals the God who supplies the deliverance. God is a loving, forgiving, healing, gracious Deliverer. When a man comes to the truth of the Word of God he finds the One who stands behind it. He is the Deliverer. He is the only One who supplies us with answers in the face of the uncertainty we face in our lives. He is the only One who is trustworthy, dependable and reliable. Why not go to His Word and believe what He says? Men try every other avenue for answers and do not find them. Why not believe the truth of the Word of God? You could find the answers you are seeking John 10:10 I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. [Jesus Christ] He either lied or He told the truth. If he lied the results would be no different that any other self help author we have read. If he told the truth we will have found the answers we have been seeking and the deliverance no other can provide.
