Over the last few months we have seen a surge of interest in our Native American Jewelry collections. Turquoise has been a popular stone for us for quite a while now but with the addition of our Native America collections it has leaped out ahead of other stones significantly. We are working with individual Native American artists as well as Native American trading partners to bring a deep collection of rings, earrings, pendants and even some inlaid pocket knives, money clips. and fetish figures. We only buy authenticated sterling silver and real stones with designs that utilize traditional methodology with contemporary flair. The majority of the collection is produced by Navajo and Paiute craftspeople setting stones and nuggets in hand embellished silver settings. We are starting to see more inlaid work too using turquoise mixed with orange oyster shell, blue lapis, black onyx, purple sugilite and of course lots of red coral. Turquoise mixed with red coral has become almost iconic of traditional southwest jewelry. If you are in Old Town San Diego stop by and visit with us at 2615 Calhoun St.. We are in the Old Carriage House at the Old Town Market, where the green and orange trolley stops.
