Oxnard Police Department officers searching for Andres Rene Rodriguez, a 29-year old Oxnard resident, identified as the suspect for attempted murder. Rodriguez was released from custody in April of 2013 under the Post Release Offender Program, a program which releases non-violent, and non-serious offenders from prison pursuant to Assembly Bill 109. Rodriguez is currently at large and has multiple felony warrants for his arrest. Rodriguez should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS. If Rodriguez is observed, please do not attempt to contact him and call police immediately. See attached News Release for additional information and photo.
