Ozz is a fabulous place to live.. We are becoming more multi cultural and diverse.. And yet theres still that fabulous auzzie spirit.. I am proud of my Country.. I have my own beliefs about our huge Asian/Pacific Island Nation.. There is a sense of energy that is so ancient and sacred about this place.. I think i can understand how spiritual the whole earth is just by looking at this land.. Everything is so old here.. Our highest peak is little more than a km high.. Most of our Prehistoric mega flora and fauna died out 20 to 40 thousand years ago.. The original inhabitants lived along side 12 meter Goannas and 3meter tall kangaroos.. Its Like the Land that time forgot.. No wonder the original inhabitants held the land or as they call it country (bush, land, earth) As being so sacred as to leave everything untouched.. They walked upon the land with light feet and would see all the land trees and animals as sacred. They didnt farm or build many buildings because they saw no purpose in disturbing the sacred only that if something was moved it would be replaced into position.. A young girl might pick a flower and play with a while than she would put it back from where got it from.. They even draged a branch upon the sand to erase thier foot prints.. There written Laungage was written in sand in the form of maps and symbols, would be erased.. Food was gifted from spirit not taken.. They would go hungry untill a goanna or whatever crossed there path ahead of them.. They thanked spirit for this gift of food.. They followed the seasons following the fruits nuts and berries.. Their only need was Love of Life and Spirit was always with them everywhere.. Important records where painted or sometimes carved in stone.. A small carved map on a rock may direct any travelors to food, water, and tribal boundaries.. There where over 300 different Languages spoken across this land. and all was sacred belonging to the great spirit. They offered prayers to the great spirit every morning offering thier gratitude for everything that they walked, touched, ate, smelt, saw, felt and experienced.. They had no religion.. Experience of Life and what the land teaches them was all that was needed.. You didnt need a job. Yet everybody had a purpose.. There was no need for money there was no homelessness, Free Medicine and a community that cared and all the people where cannected.. Every elder was your Aunt or Uncle.. Everyone was your Brother or sister.. They Lived in the moment.. And Listened to the country it spoke to you.. Now tell me Is this something like what Our Modern Awareness and Growth is leading us to.. Is it not The same.. Is not the Country and great spirit speaking to us and asking us to look back upon the past and Let go of our Modern Obsessions with power greed and money.. Are we not being asked to unite as one people of earth because we are all the same.. We are all Brothers and Sisters is not this be true.. Is it not fact that we are part of these earth and are we also the same as all animals, Is not the Earth part of the Universe.. Is it not true that without the universe we would not exist.. Everything and everyone was originally created from the seed the creator planted and gave the breath of Love and light to..?
