PAGASA: 24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00PM SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 pm today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 70 km North of Tacloban City (11.8ºN, 124.8ºE) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao. FORECAST: Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and Quezon province will experience cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Palawan and Mindanao and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough. Light to moderate winds coming from the northeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and coming from the northeast to northwest over the rest of Luzon and Visayas.
