PAIR ARRESTED AFTER POLICE STOP GLOVERSVILLE -- Two city men are facing charges after a vehicle reportedly failed to stop for police on Friday night. Listed as arrested at 9:57 p.m. Friday were: • 37 year old Christopher P. Brockum of S. Main Street Gloversville. • 55 year old David A. Compani of Fremont Street Gloversville. Authorities said the arrests came after officers attempted to stop a vehicle that Brockhum was operating after the vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of South Judson and Washington Streets. Police said once officers activated emergency lights to effect a traffic stop on said vehicle, the vehicle continued south not complying with the order to pull over. Officers said the vehicle eventually pulled into Brockhum’s driveway where Brockhum was taken into custody on an active City Court warrant for his arrest. Officers said that during the stop Compani was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Compani was reportedly issued an appearance ticket returnable to City Court at a later date. Brockhum was reportedly transported to the city police station and arraigned before being remained to Fulton County Correctional Facility on $500 cash bail. Brockhum was set to reappear in City Court at a later date according to police.
