Park Inn by Radisson is a dynamic mid-market offer – appearing as a positive and vibrant brand, focusing on today’s essentials and targeting domestic and international travellers alike. The Park Inn by Radisson Izmir will enjoy a prime location: next to the most prestigious waterfront called “Kordon” in Izmir with sea view and facing the future marina of the city. The hotel will comprise 137 rooms, a 270m² all-day dining restaurant and lobby bar, three meeting rooms (total 200m²) as well as gym and spa (45m²). Izmir, located on the Aegean Sea, is Turkey’s third largest city and second most important economic hub. Its activity is mainly focused on trade and export and holds a significant industrial base, realizing up to 9% of Turkey’s industrial production. Izmir Alsancak Port is Turkey’s second largest seaport, geographically well positioned to capture the European as well as Middle Eastern market, and serving as main transportation hub in eastern Anatolia. The construction of the North Aegean Candarli Port has commenced and is expected to be completed by the end of 2016. This second port will serve as a hub for all major international sea lines and will be Turkey’s largest port with an annual capacity of 20 million tons.
