While GEJ may have got aclimatized to most of the democratic norms expected of a President through the relatively long contact,GMB would be cautious over his new lessons on democracy,particularly to avoid his critics ready accusation of showing some autocratic traits reminiscent of his milijtary background.He could some of the times be on collision course with lawmakers.In the area of ASUU crises,GMB could use his leadership experience for prompt amicable crisis resolution,GEJ as a former lecturer and ASUU member was not new to faceoffs lasting 9 months and so could easily afford to live with the phenomenon.GMB as a military retiree could cause the perennial problem of non-payment of arrears of military pensioners.The reason of unproductivity as being cause of their nonpayment reportedly given by Finance Minister Okonjo-Iweala would no longer hold.
