What If (Isaiah 30:20-21) And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not your teachers be removed into a corner any more, but your eyes shall see your teachers: And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk you in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left. Brothers and sisters, what if the trials, tribulations, sufferings, and the hard places you are in at this moment of your life is right where you’re supposed to be? What if you’re crying for GOD to deliver you from the pain, hurt, persecutions, adversity, and afflictions you are suffering in life, but they are ordained by GOD? What if the hard place you are in has purpose and reason in your life, but you’re constantly crying, fasting, praying, and making supplications unto GOD to deliver you from the place he has ordained for you to be! What if the adversity, afflictions, pain, hurt, trials, tribulations, and the sufferings you suffer in life are ordained by GOD, and GOD is using them to teach you patience, trust, faith, temperance, hope, love, forgiveness, and mercy? What if the trials, tribulations, sufferings, and afflictions you suffer in life are there to teach you, mold you, define you, and make you into the men and woman of GOD that GOD has ordained for you to be? What if GOD has ordained the pain, hurt, tribulations, trials, sufferings, and afflictions you suffer in life to teach you JESUS, that might also learn obedience through the things you suffer in life, the same way JESUS learned obedience from the things he suffered? What if everything happens for a reason and purpose in your life, but you fail to understand the reason and purpose behind all things, because you keep crying and complaining about all the things you suffer in life! Brothers and sisters, all things happen for reason and purpose in life, and our duty is to understand the reasons why, for everything that happens in life is supposed to happen, and it was ordained to happen, because it happened! Brothers and sisters, the children of Israel went in slavery for four hundred years, and GOD sent Moses to deliver the children of Israel from the bondage of slavery, but the children of Israel came out of the bondage of slavery to spend forty years in the wilderness! And the bondage of slavery, and the wilderness, both had reason and purpose in their lives, for GOD himself had ordained the bondage of slavery and the wilderness for the children of Israel! And the wilderness experience was supposed to teach them, break them, mold them, and make them into the men and woman of GOD, that GOD had ordained for them to be, and they were supposed to learn obedience through the things they suffered in life! (Genesis 15:12-14) And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abraham; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. And the LORD said unto Abraham, Know of a surety that your seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, I will judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. (Deuteronomy 8:2-5) And you shall remember all the way which the LORD your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, and to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or no. And he humbled you, and suffered you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD does man live. Your raiment waxed not old upon you, neither did your foot swell, these forty years. You shall also consider in your heart, that, as a man chastens his son, so the LORD you God chastens you. (Zechariah 13:8-9) And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, says the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God. ~~ If you enjoy reading the messages consider signing up for weekly or monthly emails with a link of current messages.
