PHILIPPINES TROPICAL STORM: Tropical Storm Jangmi, locally known as Seniang, left at least six people dead in the Philippines as heavy rains caused flooding and triggered landslides on Monday and Tuesday. Sustained winds reached 65 km/h with gusts of up to 80 km/h, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). The typhoon was forecast to move west at 19 km/h as of 5 pm (local time) on December 30.
