PHOTO SHOWING LOCATION OR RECENTLY REVEALED 2ND TEMPLE NORTHERN TEMPLE MOUNT WALL A number of people have asked to see a photograph which will show the precise location of the newly uncovered early 2nd Temple period northern Temple Mount wall, reported here earlier. From this photograph it can be seen that the exposed stones, (seen in the inset), are just north of the courtyard which currently surrounds the Dome of the Rock, where the Azarah inner courtyard of the Holy Temple was located. This photograph was taken before the current illegal construction by the Muslim Waqf. The trees being pointed to by the arrow have since been cleared away and a generator now stands there. For the sake of gaining a greater perspective, the Western Wall plaza can be seen in the upper left part of the photograph, outside of the southwestern corner of the Temple Mount.
