PHOTOGRAPHER DISCOVERS VENTURA OPEN AIR DUMP PITS and is THREATENED BY CHEMICAL TRUCK DRIVER!! -----HEY YOU!-Dont take pics of us polluting the Ventura river!--- Shocking pics from the Ventura River frack fields: An unknown driver of a mysterious yellow chemical truck jumped out and ran towards our photographer menacingly. The driver screamed threats and a slew of fancy curse words. What kind of guilt is there in driving these Mysterious Yellow Chemical trucks that the drivers feel the need to threaten a mild-mannered nerdy photographers? (Sorry Barry. but you are a bit of a nerd). These are just chemicals trucks not Madonna, Sean Penn or Justin Bieber. Why attack photographers like they were paparazzi? Guilty conscious?----ARE THEY DOING SOMETHING WRONG to our river? Why on Earth would a driver be so mad as to threaten our sweet, nice, well-dressed photographer. This has gone too far. Why so angry? Stop Ventura Fracking already outed them with these Google Satellite pics that appear to show a similar chemical truck dumping a load into open air unlined pits right above the Ventura River. What is going on above our river? We should be the ones that are upset that oil companies are doing these things in beautiful Ventura. For the last 3 years there has been a steady around-the-clock stream of Mysterious Yellow Chemical trucks headed across the Ventura River where an influx of experimental well stimulation techniques (also known as fracking) has occurred. Who issued these permits? Stop Ventura Fracking is investigating. Is it legal to dump whatever mysterious chemicals so close to the Ventura river? If it is frack waste it most certainly contains VOCs, radioactivity, possible acid, silica micro-fine sand (like asbestos). And lots of it. Fracking can involve up to 144 million gallons of tainted toxic fluid. Up to 600 chemicals are used in fracking. Ventura Water only tests for 295 in a mailing dated Summer 2014. We get more scared the more we learn. According to the map our once peaceful lil neighborhood is downwind of these open air pits of whatever mysterious substance it is but so is Oak View and Ojai. 67% of Ventura Countys water supply comes from the underground basin nearby. We love all comments as we learn more about the dangers of acid well stimulation and fracking. Please like our page. We love your input-thank you all so much. We will be throwing a Stop Ventura Fracking BBQ bash and party soon at Foster Park to celebrate that 67% of our water comes from wells there. We hope you all will attend and make some new friends!
