On Tuesday Aisha Haruna wey be 20 years old from Uke in Nasarawa State on Tuesday for Grade 1 Area Court inside Mararaba, Nasarawa State, drop her divorce request. On May 29 Aisha file a suit seeking de separation from her hubby, Hussaini Haruna, 27 years old, of Gurku Village. For court she yan say she and her hubby no fit resolve the mata after de last adjourned date on August 19. The Hubby wey speak through ihm counsel, Nuru Mua’zu, demand Islamic procedure of divorce. “This mata na Islamic mata and procedures dey wey we gat to follow before divoce of dey granted to de wife wife. “One of the procedures na de woman gat to pay wetin we know as ‘Kuli’. De meaning of “Kuli na paying back some of de expenses de husband make wen ihn dey marry am “well I no get de document here, but de total expenses na like N300,000. Ihn tell de court say Aisha dey eight months pregnant for Haruna. Mua’zu apply for adjournment so ihn go go carry de document wey get de list of expenses. Mr Musa Danjuma wey be de presiding judge, grant de counsel’s application and adjourn de case to Sept. 2 for continuation of hearing. De wife wey dem give her out wen she be 13 years old yan she she don dey de marriage for 7years and she don loose interest so she no do again. ..
