PIT BIKE NO SPARK Remove the spark plug and gently clean it with sandpaper or a wire brush to ensure maximum conductivity. With the plug removed from the engine, ensure the plug lead is connected and the spark plug is touching or near something metal. Kick the bike over and watch for a spark. If you have spark, go to the next section. If you have no spark, disconnect the kill switch (follow the wire from the handlebars to the connection point and unplug the wires). This step is checking whether the kill switch is the source of the problem. If you still have no spark after disconnecting the kill switch, you may need to replace your stator. A stator plate will give off a burnt smell when faulty, and can be easily heath tested with a multimeter. After replacing the stator plate you still have no spark, replace the ignition coil and CDI unit and perform the spark test again. (Now from my own experience) of having no spark i changed the STATOR,HIGH TENSION LEAD,PLUG AND KILL SWITCH BUT... turns out the (C.D.I ) WAS AT FAULT.It was the racing C.D.I and it was not that old but it broke because the way the wire was bent caused the C.D.I to have a break in the seal of were the wires come out and water got in check for KINKS in your wires. Also i had a kazuma 50cc at with no spark and the cause was the kill switch wires had been clamped together from the seat shutting off the spark. Hope this helps you guys :)
