PLEASE HELP ME - I AM A SWEET YOUNG BOY AND I DIE ON SATURDAY, 03/15/14, UNLESS SOMEONE LIKE YOU STEPS UP FOR ME AND SAVES MY DEAR LIFE! PLEASE READ THE NICE THINGS THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ME AT THE SHELTER: Spartacus has been used as a behavior helper dog, and has become a behavior staff favorite! Please help him find his forever home. A volunteer writes: While his name conjures up images of warriors and gladiators, this Spartacus is actually a very gentle, mild-natured boy! He is certainly handsome and well-built, but Spartacus knows not to exert all of his strength on walks - he is SO good on leash; he does not pull and often looks up to check in. He loves to be pet and wags his tail in gratitude. Spartacus seems to be housetrained, knows sit and takes treats like a gentleman. He seems calm and friendly when encountering other dogs. His doggie manners have even been acknowledged by the behavior staff who use Spartacus to help evaluate other dogs. Passing his cage, Spartacus comes to the front, sits and looks up at me with pleading eyes and even adds a heart-wrenching soundtrack - a soft, desperate whine! Spartacus is loved by many at Brooklyn ACC, but what this sweet boy longs for, and SO deserves is a home of his own !
