PLEASE HELP! ive been trying to get my 89 camaro RS 2.8 going for a month and a half with no luck, and now im extremely pressed for time, i have to get it moved before the snow hits. here is the problem; i drove it to a friends house and shut it off, and it wouldent start after that, it would kick and die, so i got it towed home and figured the timing chain had slipped, took off the water pump and i was right, chain was VERY slack, put a new chain in, wouldent start, dicked with some things, and moved the distributor and it still wont start, will kick very hard and try to run, but it will only chug for a moment then die, have replaced fuel pump/filter (before issue) ingition module under distributor, new cap and rotor and still wont run. if someone is willing to help a brother out and gets this thing running before the weekend, i will pay you what its worth,if you are interested in helping inbox, i am in the fredericton area.
