PLEASE READ....I normally dont post stuff like this but this is very important to so many that have lost a special member of their family to our shamefully imperfect justice system. My brother David Flores has been sentenced to 35 years-life in prison after his first offence for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. His appeals continue being denied even though he stays out of trouble and is a supervisor for a job that he gets paid a few cents an hour to do in prison. The Second Chance Initiative Proposal is a petition that can give inmates like him another chance. A chance for first offenders that were giving long sentences the opportunity to have those sentences shortened so that they can have hope to one day be with their families and be a part of society. My bother has been gone for 13 years he was 25 when they took him away. He like so many others deserve another chance. This proposal needs 500,000 supporters and there are only 4,102 signatures so far. PLEASE like, share, and spread the word.
