PLEASE READ THIS!!!! This morning as I visited a new place to run I start out on the trail I pass a man running, he says hello, I pass a couple with dogs, a couple carry fishing poles, another man, and some ladies with their Starbucks coffee, all of which nod but no hello. I come upon my second time around and I see the first man again he stops he and in his thick accent says are you going around again? mind to run with you I proceeded to tell him I run slow and have to stop sometimes because of my foot he still wanted to run. So we run... He tells me no one every wants to run with him and he understands he is a stranger... He then starts to tell me he needs to practice his English (he is Hispanic) and thanks me for running and talking. The next thing he said stopped me in my tracks... He says I have two kids 3 and 5 and my son is special, he has the autism. I stopped turned to him and said my son too has autism and I also work for AutismOklahoma... He started to cry... I started to cry!! We ran 2 more miles crying and sharing! He said him and his wife feel so alone, but not anymore after meeting me and me sharing my story and how to visit a support group. We both thanked God for or meeting this morning he went on his way home and yes I ran another mile crying with a HUGE smile on my face! This man was such a blessing to me today! GOD IS AT WORK PEOPLE!!!
