She allowed staff to handle her ♡ and didnt even mind when a stranger tried to take her food, even though she came in as a stray and was probably hungry. Like so many others, Pattie quickly caught the shelter cold and the decision was made to kill her rather than treat her.... Pattie ♥ is a beautiful, young (2 yrs old) dog who is scared and confused. :( She needs a patient person who will love her ♥ and make her feel wanted. Pattie deserves a chance. ♡ A week ago she was a healthy young dog who wound up in a strange, scary place. Tonight she is begging for her very life. Please dont let tonight be her last. Advocate for her now or, better yet, offer her a home ♥ . Bu do it now ~ This afternoon will be too late. 》》》 ◆◆◆ From Patties original Thread by Christian Dittmar: I was at the Brookly ACC on Sunday when this dog came in with her owner she was wagging her tail and looking up at her owner to see what was going on...when her owner was filling out paperwork she put her paws on the countertop and was watching her owner write down information...little did she know that she was being dumped. She was friendly when people walked into the lobby. If I remember correclty there is a reverse hair ridge the entire length of her back ... maybe she has some rhodesian ridgeback in her family tree? When I saw a shelter employee take the leash from the owner she did tense up and she kept wanting to go to her owner ... he just stood there .... no goodbyes to his dog, no regret, no tears. It was as if he were dumping off a bag of garbage, Everyone in the adoption section of the lobby all kept saying how sad that this dog wanted to leave with her owner and not be led away to an unknown future. From what I saw this is a good dog who is beyond upset that the person she was loyal to had just abandoned her to an unknown fate.... ♡♥♡ Sweet Comments by her Volunteers ~ Rachel Bennette : Pattie was so nervous and scared her first few days at BACC but she has really warmed up and did well on her behavior exam ♡ ~ And by David Klimovich : I walked Pattie today.
