*** PLEASE SHARE *** Desert View Assisted Living Home needs to have their license revoked! On our way home we found one of their patients all by himself, in the street, stuck in his wheel chair trying to get up the curb. This was at 330pm. When we finally located the nursing home, the staff on duty had no clue he was out of the house! This man was left unattended for 3 hours! He could barely tell me his name and was not making any sense with the rest of his words. The paramedics that showed up were astonished at how high his temp was and how delirious he was. The staff at Desert View seemed very unconcerned and were stumbling trying to answer my/the paramedics questions. DHS will definitely be getting a call on Monday. Caregivers like this make me sick and should be shut down! Please share with your friends and family! What if this was done to your family member?
