On Thursday next week (4th Sept), Steve Perkins, my cousin Clive Mear and a gang of fellow fundraisers will attempt to hike the length of Hadrians Wall - 84 miles - starting on the East Coast and heading West. Over 5 days, walking between 15-24 miles a day, they aiming to raise funds for an ECMO machine, the machine that saved my cousins daughters (Avas) life in January this year following 4 cardiac arrests.
