PLEASE....ladies....consult with a PROFESSIONAL when wearing extensions! NO shade...Im being serious! If its not in your budget to seek a professional, DONT DO IT! Some of you wear weaves WAY to long and dont do the proper maintenance and wonder why you are LOSING hair instead of gaining length/density. I highly recommend scalp treatments after EVERY style that has been worn for over a month (including braids). Another mistake is covering up scalp issues with extensions....youre creating a breeding ground for fungus, bacteria, dandruff, etc. Then you want that good old scalp scratching (I pray your stylist doesnt use their nails....and spread it to every other client). These are small factors that a lot of Ppl ignore when they say healthy hair. Some of you are more worried abt catching Ebola than taking care of your scalp! Hope I didnt hurt anyones feelings but sanitation and scalp health are VERY important and you never hear stylists talking abt it. #KnowBetterDoBetter
