POINT to PONDER: Laurie Lacey-Harms----I AGREE WITH YOU Laurie 1 BAZILLION %....this is GOOD!!! Something I have been contemplating today...When someone injures or kills an officer...It immediately becomes a No holds barred event for any/all officers to hunt down & kill the ALLEDGED person who did the deed thus effectively becoming Judge, Jury & Executioner? Now bringing me to the thing that I was contemplating...This vigilante justice demonstrates only 1 thing to me (correct me if I am wrong), that police do not trust the justice system to hold said person accountable & exact the appropriate level of justice via trial & sentencing! That being the example demonstrated...How is it that they are not held accountable for said vigilante justice just as the civilian would be & how on earth can we civilians be expected to trust in the justice system when they obviously do not?? Seems like a HUGE double standard & that doesnt even begin to touch the issue of blatant un-called for abuse (to put it lightly) demonstrated on WAY TOO MANY YouTube videos I have seen with my own eyes! This nation is in far too much turmoil, on too many levels for ANYONE to be turning a blind eye to it.
