POSITION ANNOUNCEMENTS Associate Director for Assessment and Evaluation Assistant Director for Assessment and Evaluation The Teaching and Learning Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology invites applications for the positions of the Associate Director of Assessment and Evaluation and the Assistant Director of Assessment and Evaluation. These are both 2-year positions with the possibility of becoming permanent. Both the Associate and Assistant Director will collaborate with MIT faculty, administrators, and students on the design and implementation of assessment studies examining a wide range of new and ongoing educational initiatives that focus on pedagogy, curricula, and educational technology, including the use of online learning. The Teaching and Learning Laboratory is part of the Office of the Dean for Undergraduate Education. Its goals are to promote excellence in teaching and learning, serve as a resource for educational innovation, and further an understanding of learning in STEM university-level education.
