POSITION: MANAGER: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Reports to Regional Head /Branch Manager Purpose Of The Job To increase revenue for the company by meeting the branch targets through new customers addition, retention and client servicing of existing customers. Also responsible for meeting revenue collection targets due from sales. Key Responsibility Areas New Business Additions Retentions Collections Check, maintain and adhere to the sales administration process Competition Knowledge Sales Budget for the Branch/Individual Impart Training Tasks & Duties Generate new business additions Generate 80% business as per the Client Master Form potential within 60days of sign ups. Ensure Sales ROI is achieved month after month Device plans to achieve monthly & yearly individual sales targets Analyze the Teams prospects potential to identify & match the customers needs with BDEL Products Follow up with the potential clients along with SALES EXECUTIVE Negotiate rates & service offers with customers in consultation with Branch head on case to case basis Develop & retain existing customers and achieve the base targets set on a monthly basis Analyze & understand the business cycle & sales projection for the month/year of existing customers in the assigned base. Ensure that the branch achieves 120% collection as per logic remittance target Ensure that the branch achieves minimum 90% collection within 30 days from the date of billing Recover both current /old outstanding from clients by regular follow up Reduce Debtors turnover ratio Check ,maintain & adhere to the sales administration process Ensur that the sales teams Reports are monitored through saffire module every day Update prospects details in saffire software package on a daily basis Monitor the Credit control for the Branch on a daily basis Communicate & interact with internal & external customers on service issues Collect information on all competitors organizational structure, products, USPs, pricing, promotional schemes and other activities and report these on a regular basis to branch head Plan and work towards achieving individual as well as Branch Targets. Schedule Trainings on products, sales, attitudes and abilities Job Specification: Qualification : Graduate/MBA . Experience : 12-15 years of hardcore selling. Age: : 30-35 years Knowledge: Conversant with MS Office Thorough product related knowledge Good Presentation Skills Skills: Should possess good verbal communication skills & presentation skills to put across ideas & thoughts to customers effectively Should possess good written communication skills to action emails & resolve customer & interdepartmental issues. Should possess basic analytical skills to understand business & market trends & to read & monitor MIS reports. Should possess effective negotiation & persuasive skills to convert a prospect into sales at the desired rates. Ability to plan ways to meet set targets & schedule the daily activities. Should be able to build rapport easily to increase contacts & build relationships. Should have good time management skills to allocate time appropriately to achieve addition, retention & collection objectives. Should be able to build the Team, as Man handling is very critical. Should be able to handle other functional teams.
