KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Thorough understanding and knowledge of the relevant Acts, good Pharmacy practices, the national drug policy, District Health System and essential drug list. Sound knowledge of work processes and procedures in the PHRAMACY DEPARTMENT. Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy. Ability to manage conflict and apply discipline. Ability to work under pressure. Commitment to service excellence with sound decision making, ethical and innovative skills. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Provide an accurate efficient and cost effective pharmaceutical service.\ Provide a comprehensive Pharmaceutical products including pre-packing and relabeling of medication. Provide expert and professional advance regarding medicine information, counselling and education services to health care professionals and patients. Maintain accurate and appropriate patient and statistics. Supervise and provide training of interns, Pharmacist assistance and junior pharmacists. Exercise rational drug use, maintenance of cold chain and control over expenditure in ensuring non-wastage of pharmacy resources. Provide all necessary services within the ARV Programme.
