POSTPONEMENT OF PAYMENT OF PRACTICING CERTICATE FEE Following members’ concerns on the recently introduced Practicing Certificate fee, we have decided to postpone the payment of the fees until further notice and consultations. Meanwhile, those Members/Fellows who are eligible for Practicing Certificates are requested to submit to IHRM their application forms accompanied with a one off application fee of Sh. 2,000/=. The processing of received applications will go on as we wait for the determination of amount of fee payable for the Practicing Certificate. CRITERIA FOR ISSUING PRACTICING CERTIFICATES i) A person seeking to obtain or renew a Practicing Certificate must be: a) Fully paid up Fellow or Member of IHRM b) Head of the Human Resource function of an organization or Head of a sub-function of the Human Resource function or Partner/Principal Shareholder of a registered human resource firm or Performing human resource management duties and responsibilities of an organization. ii) Attainment of Minimum CPD Credit Points The person must have also attained the minimum Institute of Human Resource Management Continuing Professional Development Credit Points of the year preceding the application for a practicing certificate.
