PRAISE BREAK I thank God for the strong women He has placed in my life. I have 3 mentors...a spiritual, a professional and a personal and each of them stands very tall in their respective fields of ministry, Corporate America and Politics. This trip to Washington was special for so many reasons. Although it may have appeared as though I went alone, that just could not be further from the truth! The moment I boarded the plane, the women of Bethel boarded, my parents boarded, my God-mothers boarded, my late Pastor boarded, my husband boarded, my teenage daughter boarded, the young women I mentor boarded, those women who have made such major deposits in my life boarded, and of course all of those of whom I am blazing this trail for boarded. You see Facebook fam, I thank the Lord for navigating every circumstance and detail by which He chose to allow my gift to make room for me. He is sovereign in how He decides to bring me into the company of other great and powerful women that I may glean from them. He does it so that I may see, discover and experience new possibilities. I accepted the mantle of leadership many years ago and my commitment grows stronger every day and with each new experience. I humbly offer a great big thank you to Michelle Renee Harden for being a key element in the great work that God has begun and is completing in me. Michelle, from one planner and organizer to another, this work is sometimes frustrating and grueling to say the least, but God already knew the challenges we would face. As you continue in the path that has been predestined for you, I encourage you to remain humble before the Lord and allow Him to elevate you. To all of my newest sisters I have had the extreme pleasure of meeting on this trip... God has many great blessings with your names on them, but they will not manifest without EXACT obedience to His every command. NO COMPROMISES! Dont allow yourselves to be overtaken by the tricks, traps, plans or plots of the enemy. When you begin to feel overwhelmed by the pressure of it all, back away, find your quiet place, l-i-s-t-e-n and allow God to speak. Once you receive direction from Him....then proceed forward again.
