PRASAT ANDON at KoR Ker INSCRIPTION OF JAYA-VARMAN IV: Obeisance to Siva, whose brilliance vanquishes darkness, is all-pervasive like space among the five elements and is the indwelling essence in objects. Obeisance to Siva, whose feet shine with the radiance of Sun, who obediently travels in the sky; who is the support of the fourteen worlds; the eternal and who sports Moon in his head. The coiled waves of Ganga on the head of Siva are full of splendor, like a hundred million crescent moons gifted by the munificent ocean. The four beautiful arms of Vishnu shine with the splendours of the three worlds. May the sounds of Vedas, emanating from the four mouths of Brahma, protect us, as they did in praising Yoganidra, who killed the enemies. Obeisance to Uma, on seeing whose loving full-moon like face, the crescent moon on the head of Siva got engulfed in the flame of the matted tresses. Saraswati shines with her white, slender limbs and pale bosom, like Ganga with the shining yellow sand on the petals of lotuses in it. I worship Kambu, which has had all kings of Kambuja cutting down into half the fame of the lineages of Surya and Chandra. The kings of Sri Kambu shine with the world having been won over by their prowess and enemies conquered like poisonous thorns by the arms of Vishnu. Sri Yasovarman became the emperor of the glorious and famous kings of Kambuja, like Indra the emperor of Maruts. He was like Brahma, who laid down the social order of varnas. In that emperor, hosts of good qualities gathered in large numbers, viewed by rule or exception. His wholesome fame was unattainable even by men of great religious merit and extended in all directions even beyond the seas.
