PRAYER REQUEST>>>FROM>>> Brigette >>>>Please pass this request on. Thank you Hello to everyone, I am sorry I have not been able to update on my dads status for some time. You see we were desperately trying to get to a hospital while waiting for his insurance to kick in this Saturday. Because he did not have insurance it was almost impossible to get the care he needs. He had been holding on very well with an improved diet of veggies, fruits, and high protein. Two nights ago out of the blue he went down hill very quickly (like in a matter of hours). So we took him to the emergency room at evangelical hospital and they told us that the tumor had grown and he may not make it trough the night. They immediately admitted him and put him on a morphine drip. He was was not talking, could not eat nor drink,did not know where he was or who we are. Last night he began having labored breathing and we stayed with him all night preparing ourselves for his passing. This did not happen, in fact at around 6 am he began talking to us, at first only in bits and pieces. Gradually since that time he was been holding conversations, drinking water, smiling and overall more aware of his surrounding. I am asking everyone and anyone wether you know my dad or not please send LOVE, LIGHT, PRAYERS, POSITIVE ENERGY, whatever you believe will help him heal. My sister and I have seen the start of a small miracle today and I believe with all of your help we can make that miracle grow! Thank you to all that have been with us this entire time and those of you that are just now reading this post. I know it may seem bleak at the moment but I know in my heart, if there is anyone on this earth that deserves a miracle it is my hero, my dad, Michael P Baker. So its been another ride as for this past month has been. Thanks to all for their care and support. For now will be laid up to recover, as for my surgery it is post poned til who knows when, because of all the medication I need to take for the heart. Started feeling better, this morning i cleaned the kitchen and living room. At times i have felt just worn out. Ive been walking around for so i wont get sore which is helping but being wiped out can that happen? I talked to the nurse and i was told if i didnt have any of the meds. in me i could drive big difference after being home all week and then getting out and driving. I didnt know my energy had zapped that much. I dont like feeling like this. Did anyone feel like that after their surgery? The nurse was also said i wasnt supposed to go back to work until the 11th of feb. after the follow-up. I sure wont be going in on monday. LORD help me to feel better.
