PRAYING FOR PASTORS AND LEADERS DAY 5 Today Friday, we pray that the church of Jesus Christ, our Pastors and leaders and their families are cared for, respected and are given priority consideration. We pray for the Church of Jesus Christ to constantly increase in growth, we pray for the growth of our Pastors, leaders and their families. We pray that there is understanding among all brethren in our Churches and we also pray for our Pastors and leaders that they are not under - appreciated, ignored nor overworked as we are one body everyone having a part to play, until Christ return to meet us in a glorious Church. We pray that in the church of Jesus Christ, our Pastors and leaders are committed to their families and task with authentic love and caring. We pray that they are strong and abundantly supplied with knowledge and the wisdom to not only deal with trails and temptations, but to learn in the midst of trials, elevating their homes to be a refuge and haven of rest and to operate more in an intimate manner. "…If you say, "The Lord is my refuge, and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. "Because he loves me,"says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation."(Psalms 91:9-16) "...But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly (1 Peter 2:23).
