We just arrived in Israel and were going to meet our future daughter and future in-laws for the first time. We came with beautiful jewelry for the Kallah, a gorgeous dress watch, diamond necklace and gold and diamond earrings. When we checked our luggage and saw that all the boxes had been rifled through and all the jewelry was taken by the baggage handlers! We were upset and sad. So we came empty handed to the Kallah :( The Kallah, Sara Shira, said Its OK. We have each other. Jewelry is just rock and metal, thats all. So I am inspired once again to plea to you. We have each other. Some people have no one. No Shabbat. No Yom Tov. No family. I am reminded why I do Shabbat. Please help me help those who dont even have the bare necessities.
