Tons of them!!! Precious was made New Hope rescue only because she bit the plastic hand during the food and rawhide test. YET, READ THE INTAKE NOTES, READ THE VOLUNTEER COMMENTS. 13 months old and 47 lbs this girl came in CALM, SWEET, WALKED WELL. Volunteer found her a people lover, and comment exactly was, Oh boy, is this dog SWEET. Playful with other dogs,and the assessor found her social and puppy like. An experienced owner can train and deal with guarding issues, that can be remedied. IF THE DOG DIES HERE BECAUSE SHE, AS A STRAY, GUARDED HER FOOD, ETC, WE LOSE HER FOREVER. REPEAT: GUARDING ISSUES CAN BE CORRECTED, if they are even a problem when she is out of here.
