PREPAID ELECTRICITY METERS: The decision to stop with prepaid meter applications has been rescinded. Electricity Reporting Centres will be accepting prepaid meter application (RETROFIT) in all Tshwane Metro offices in the City. Conditions for the application to be accepted. The following documents are needed to apply - Water and lights account ( should be paid in full or arrangements be made on the outstanding amount/ areas. - Copy of certified ID of the registered owner. - Doing the application on behalf of owner, - Signed proxy letter by the owner is required and - Certified copy of ID of the applicant( person doing the application) The cost for the installation and meter is R 1646.73. payable on application. NB. Until the 30 June 2014. For the meter to be installed it will take between 3 -7 months or more because of the backlog Metering section has. Applications can be done at the following offices: 1. Akasia Municipal office 16 Dale Avenue, Karen Park 2. Rosslyn Electricity Depot Corner Doreen Avenue and Van Niekerk street, Customer Care offices, Room A13 3. Soshanguve office Soshanguve community centre, 2275 Tlhantlhagane street Block F 4. Atteridgeville Electricity Depot Corner Komane and Maluka street Room 13 5. Centurion office Lyttelton Manor Corner Rabie and Basden streets Block D ( Customer care office) Counter 9 6. Inner City office BKS Building 373 Pretorius Street 1st floor ,Counter 8 7. Eersterust office Civic centre Corner PS Fourie Drive and Hans Coverdale West Ground floor Customer Care offices. 8.
