PRESIDENT JONATHAN IS PLAYING ETHNIC CARD IN THE NIGER DELTA ; He who comes to equity must come with clean mind .i know some people we say , i am being tribalistic but the fact remains that tribalism is part of nigeria politics.in short it determines the allocation of offices,resources and development .it is on the bases of this that one tribe get to raise alarm whenever the marginalisation is obvious.we cannot cry that the north has marginalized us of our resources whereas you are doing thesame thing to other people in your region.The ijaw ethnic group is not the only ethnic group in the Niger region,we have more than 20 ethnic group in the Niger Delta.the ijaw ethnic cannot be ascertained as the majority yet in the region but in terms of position in offices,they have practically occupied all positions in the region without consideration of other tribes in the region .No body is saying that we should not ask for equity but it must be asked with clean mind.NOW, a critical naming of positions ,we will discovered that it is occupied by the ijaws only at the detriment of other tribes in the region.EXAMPLES ARE ,The minister of petroleum ,Minister of niger Delta affairs ,special adviser to the president on niger Delta affairs ,special adviser on research and statistics,Nimasa head and now chief of army staff.if GEJ or the ijaw are sincere in the quest for equity ,it should be done with clean mind.whether is like it or not politics is interest and I asked what has the other tribes gotten from GEJ administration ? Other tribes are being used as third fiddle and to eat from their crumbs .
