PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 29, 2014 On July 28, 2014 at approximately 2230 hrs, the Eastham Police Department executed arrest warrants on Caitlyn Dionne and Carlos Valdez, both of Provincetown, during a motor vehicle stop on Route 6. These arrests were the result of a three month long investigation by detectives from the Eastham, Truro, Wellfleet and Provincetown Police Departments into the distribution of heroin on the Lower Cape. Each suspect was charged with two counts of Distribution of Class A Substance (heroin), and 2 counts of Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws. During a search of the vehicle at the traffic stop, an additional quantity of heroin was located, resulting in an additional charge of Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Substance (heroin) on each suspect. Both parties were due to be arraigned at the Orleans District Court on Tuesday morning.
