PROTEIN POWER. Every body should know by now that protein is essential if ur looking at loseing weight or gaining muscle or even increasing performance in your field of sports. So lets look at it a bit more closely . Protein consumption at different times of the day is just as important as it source ie. In the morning you want to get a fast working protein with a high biological value because you have been asleep for 8-10 hrs and your body is close to being in a fasted state so I find egg whites or whey isolate best . Post workout again fast acting isolate is king of choices mixed with simple carbs. Before bed we want to go with a very slow release protein to feed us through the time we are sleeping so a caesin powder, cottage cheese, or a red meat meal higher in fat is best at this time. Through the day I like to mix my sources between fish, chicken, and lean cuts of pork to get a full spectrum of amino acids available to my muscles . Of course these choices could change depending on your goals but its a great starting point for everybody. NO BRAIN NO GAIN.
