PTCO News: week of 10/21-10/25 This Friday 10/25, Fox Ridge is sending our students into Fall Break with a Friday Fundraiser...its SILLY SOCK DAY! Please encourage your child to bring a dollar to school on Friday and wear the silliest socks they can find! There will be volunteers at the entry doors Friday morning to collect money from those students participating. If every student at Fox Ridge turned in just $1, that would be over $1000 we could use toward classroom technologies! Isnt that fabulous! ***If you can volunteer before school on Friday to collect $$, please text Wednesday Cox at 303.875.8295, your help would be greatly appreciated! AND... Our second spirit wear order began on October 14! If you donate $100 or more to the school by this Friday Oct. 25 you will receive a FREE Fox Ridge Hoodie! Please include your name, phone number, childs name , size and grade with your donation. Please be aware that all child sizes other than Under Armor run very small. The online school store will run from October 14th through October 25th. Orders will be processed at that time and delivered to Fox Ridge around November 11. No late orders will be accepted. There are no refunds or exchanges so please order carefully. AND.. We are also so excited to announce that Fox Ridge now has a DONATION button on our school website and we can accept donations via credit card! Remember, our school participates in the Get out of Fundraising fundraiser! Instead of selling magazines and other things, we choose to just ask for donations. Currently, we have a goal of raising $10,000 for document cameras in every classroom at Fox Ridge...can you help us? Does your business need a tax deduction? FRMS PTCO meeting schedule has been revised...we will only have a general meeting every other month this year, so please mark your calendars for 6:30 pm on Tuesdays 11/19--the school counselors will be presenting about Bullying and a how to help our middle schoolers create a caring community 1/21--the school psychologist will be presenting about helping parents and middle schoolers to handle relationships and emotions 3/18--the science department will be presenting big changes to the state science curriculum and assessment and 5/20--we are hoping to have a teacher meet and greet for incoming 6th graders and for some of our lead teachers to be present to introduce themselves! We hope to see you there each month!
