The Government gives laptops, bicycles, school bags etc. Why no action to fix the transportation problem? While the well-to-do send their wards to private schools in vans, the children of the poor studying in Government schools face this perennial problem... “If only the buses halted at Kaikurichi, these boys would not be dead today. The few buses, which halt, move on quickly and very often students are unable to board the buses with their heavy school bags.
