PURSUITS MAKE LIFE WORTH-LIVING QUOTE OF THE DAY: “BOREDOM IS A SIGN THAT SOMETHING IS MISSING” Memory Verse: “The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day” Proverbs 4:18. Life flourishes on purpose. Pursuits make life worth-living. People that desperately wish or pray that the world should come to an end now, are those who are either failures, frustrated or stagnated in destiny. A man that is succeeding, recording enviable results on a daily basis in every aspect of his life can never pray for the world to come to an end. Thus, behind every boredom is idleness, frustrations, lack of results, aborted dreams and unrealized expectations. God knew man could experience boredom, so, before creating us, He made sure there were lots of activities and events that can productively engage us from time to time. Ultimately, He provided Eve to solve the problem of loneliness. Life may be frustrating outside purpose, therefore, there must be something you are pursuing on a daily basis. There must be activities or programmes to execute. There must be problems to solve, needs to meet, otherwise, there will be frustration. If there is no reason to get up in the morning, life can start to really get you down, depression can uncontrollably set in. Watch out retirees! Some die before their time because they only retire from something, they never retire to something. Irrespective of one’s age, life hates idleness. At any point in time and in life, God’s intention and design is that brain must be constantly engaged, except when sleeping, hands must be utilized, legs must be engaged, the same applies to the entire body system. This is the only way one can overcome boredom. Thus, when people’s needs are met by you, problems are solved, achievements are made, results obtained and dreams are realized, then, life will be worth-living. So, live your life in this manner. It is well! DIVINE INSTRUCTION FOR THE DAY PLACE YOUR WRITTEN GOALS AND DREAMS BEFORE YOU. ANOINT YOUR HANDS; PLACE THOSE HANDS ON IT AND THERE SHALL BE ENVIABLE RESULTS ON EACH OF THEM. PROPHETIC PRAYERS I receive grace to overcome idleness in Jesus name. I foil every attempt of my enemy to take undue advantage of me. I reject barrenness of results, failures and frustrations of life. I shall never be stranded at any stage of my life in Jesus. FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 4:10-27.
