PUTTING THE CART BEFORE THE HORSE : RE: NWA ABA-NWA NGWA Since I posted the piece with the above title on my facebook profile page and on the ENYI ABIA facebook page, I have had a lot of friends make comments and others call in. Some have accused me like my friend, scholar, movie marketer and executive producer, Emmalex did of having an ethnocentric and clanish mindset. Others have even implied that I have started this because I am angling for a position in the next dispensation. I have no answers to either set of accusers. All i have done is to start a discourse that might help to change things. I am glad that some of the people mentioned in the piece are friends on facebook and other social platforms, so they will all have an opportunity to read what we think of their antecedents and qualifications. Apart from Senator Nkechi Nwogu who has openly declared her interest in the government house, I thank God that the others have not overtly or covertly expressed any interest so i cannot be accused of siding anybody. I acknowledge that i may have made an error in judgement by pushing the Ukwa/Ngwa agenda of occupying Government House Umuahia in 2015. I agree that it is akin to putting the cart before the horse. I have not abandoned that pursuit. Maybe the right thing to have done however is to throw this open and identify all the eminent men and women from Abia State who have the ability, capapbility and moral strength to lead Abia into the nirvana we all dream about. I however do not know every one of them, so I appeal to you all to help make this platform vibrant enough by identifying and posting such names on this ENYI ABIA page. We promise to reach, interview and investigate all of them so that we can fish out the right persons. We can get that right persons through such media like this one. Abia from 2015 must be governed by that one man or woman who will help make Abia State an example of greatness in the committee of states in the Nigerian Federation. God help Abia State, God help Nigeria. WE BELIEVE.
