PacMan is reportedly sure of a senatorial slot in VP Binays ticket. He is a great boxer, and has given the Philippines many honors, but as a legislator and government official, has he already accomplished much for the nation? He still seems, for me, to be, act and feel more like a local government rather than a national government official worthy of a Senate seat and a possible run in the future for the Presidency. Of course, my opinion doesnt mean anything to the millions who will vote blindly for him out of loyalty rather than out of merit, statesmanship, capability and accomplishments. Not until the Peter principle - that one who is only popular will rise in the hierarchy until he reaches his level of true incompetence - is strongly felt and experienced widely in the Philippines, will Filipinos know or come to realize what this means, and by then, it may be too late.............
