Paddington Organic Food Markets, 31st May On the 31st of May, Paddington markets will be hosting a one-off organic food market. We carefully sourced local organic producers, farmers and growers to bring some of the best products there is on offer. Celebrity Chef Colin Fassnidge will be attending at 11:00am for the signing of his new book, Four Kitchens: Beautiful, mouth-watering, restaurant-quality food to cook at home. Colin Fassnidge cooking always reflects an emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce which is what the Organic food market is all about. The market will feature local producers of organic fruit and vegetables, meats, dairy, wine, olives, honey, eggs, oils, nuts, chutneys, jams and clothes. Each organic stall holder will be debuting the best products they have to offer at Paddington; grown and crafted with natural ingredients to bring the best quality products , bursting with flavour and delighting the tastebuds of our shoppers. Store highlights include, Rita Organic Farm produce that will be selling their seasonal organic fruits. Rita’s farm is a family based business that have been growing and supplying chemical free produce since 2004. Wild fox wines are a unique wine company; their vineyard is true to the best biodynamic and organic farming practices to produce quality natural wine grapes on environmentally sustainable land. They are proud to offer these wines to the fine wine enthusiast, organic and raw (preservative free) enthusiast. Organic T-shirt Company will be donning their organic made garments using 100% certified organic combed cotton. The cotton is grown without toxic pesticides or fertisiliers and it is produce using sustainable farm methods. Our organic meat stall will be provided by Palarang; an organic certified grazing property on the southern Monaro, New South Wales. All of their sheep and cattle are grazed on Monaro grasslands, where they are grass fed and grass finished with no grain feeding whatsoever. Amidst the organic produce stalls, our usual traders will bring the best of Australian made products to our visitors. From hand-made items, clothing, home décor and more. Our regular food stallholders will also be there, providing authentic cuisine as you take a break from shopping and listen to the live music performed by Tim Edison from the Howlin’ Mercies. The Organic markets will open at 10:00am until 4:00pm; we hope to see you there!
