Page 5 - Thor is on his way north! Thor left his temporary home in Kentucky this morning to meet up with the Mobile Mutts Transport in Louisville, KY and start his journey north to Minnesota. He will be overnighting in Champaign, IL tonight and then will be on the road early Sunday morning with 9 other dogs heading from shelter to freedom! The good news? He has a new home waiting for him when he gets here! Amy and Jim Reilly of Otsego will be fostering him for NorthStar and will be picking him up Sunday night when the transport arrives in Brooklyn Center. Hell have a foster sister named Luna who is a young Bernese Mountain Dog as well as a 9 yr old girl of his very own! Many, many, many thanks are due to Terri Simpson who coordinated getting Thor out of the shelter, vetted and to a temporary foster. Just as many thanks are due to his Kentucky foster momma Corinne Petit Schoyen who loved him up and hated to see him go. Wed love to be able to repeat this process in the future. And I can absolutely guarantee there WILL be a next time that a grand dog like this will need rescue. But we will need your help.
