Palace theater / The Strand Theater and The Ritz Theater on Pearl Street. Dont remember much else about the neighborhood these buildings were in. Only one still remains but rarely shows films. It caters to main stream performances by national bands / hosts live plays. Though? When Fantico in Albany hosted a / Night of The Living Dead Convention, a filmmaking friend and zI had the privrlege of documenting panel discussions of several of the lead actors and staff of the first film. Its a shame that Albany and the community no longer support film venues. Its an extinct art form. Watching DVDs at home doesnt have the same emotional experience.
