Pamela in Reference here: As you probably know, some of our books at the Manistee County Library are marked on the spine with genre stickers. There are stickers for inspirational fiction, mystery, western, and others. After reading Where the moon isnt by Nathan Filer, I now believe we should have a sticker that states: WARNING: This book will make you lose sleep, miss meals, and cry a lot. That is not to say that I wouldnt read these books. In fact, when I need a good cry literature generally is there for me. Its just that sometimes, a reader needs some warning, ya know? If you drove by me in the parking lot of KMart this morning and saw me sobbing, please dont worry. It was just a case of another Great Book Bringing on the Emotions. If you like books like these and/or have an interest in deep topics such as the strength of family, the reality of mental illness, and the power of the written word, come check this book out. Ill include a few tissues with your due date slip.
