Panthers activists protest in Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Samba, Kishtwar & Delhi Demand dismissal of J&K CM The Panthers Party activists held massive protests in different parts of J&K as well as in the national capital, New Delhi at Jantar Mantar demanding immediate dismissal of Omar Abdullah led government in J&K to save further death and destruction in J&K and ensure that secular traditions of the state is not disturbed by a section of people playing in the hands of the ruling parties and BJP. In Jammu, a strong demonstration was held and the effigies of OMAR ABDULLAH and AIR were also burnt by the activists of Panthers Party under the leadership of Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary of JKNPP. While addressing the Panthers Party protest rally at Dogra Chowk, Jammu, Ms. Anita Thakur demanded that Omar Abdullah led government should be dismissed without any delay as the situation is turning communal and anti-national because of the hate speeches delivered by Mr. Omar Abdullah. She also made appeal to the people particularly the youth and the students to ensure that communal harmony is kept intact at all costs in the interest of peace and the nation. The protestors also made bonfire of the effigies of Omar Abdullah and All India Radio. The protestors accused All India Radio for giving false propaganda to further the interest of the BJP and other communal forces. In Kathua, the demonstration was led by District President, Mr.Ravinder Pathania. The protest was led at Udhampur by Mr. Sudesh Sharma, Distt. President of Udhampur. Mr. Shiv Charan Singh (retd. ZEO) District President Samba led the demonstration in Samba. Similar protests were organized in other towns. A massive rally was held at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi against the failure of J&K Govt. and for its utter failure to protect life, property and dignity of the people in Kishtwar on 9th August, 2013, the Eid Day which was being celebrated by all communities. Prof. Bhim Singh who led this massive protest in Delhi spoke to Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India and urged his intervention so that the people of J&K could be saved from further death and destruction under the non-governance of the present coalition government. Prof. Bhim Singh urged Prime Minister that the Governor rule is only remedy at the moment so that the communal forces could not damage the secular fiber in the state. He said that state BJP has been working as a tool of Farooq Abdullah and his son for several years. Both are adamant to disturb the communal harmony of the state. This is their common agenda for the coming Assembly & Lok Sabha elections. Prof. Bhim Singh said that this fact was established by the BJP leadership itself when they dismissed seven sitting BJP MLAs from the party for having aligned and voted for National Conference in the Rajya Sabha and Council elections for heavy considerations. Prof. Bhim Singh also appealed the people of Jammu in particular to beware of the opportunists and communal forces who intend to disturb peace and harmony of the state. He said that the National Conference is the mother of all evils, communalism, corruption and terrorism. Delhi Pradesh National Panthers Party leaders also burnt the effigy of J&K Chief Minister at Jantar Mantar demanding his dismissal and public trial for his hate speeches.
